For over 30 years Clam Outdoors has stood for the best in outdoor gear.  They are the leader in the ice fishing industry and they BRING IT every year with new products to help the ice fisherman.  This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Clam’s famous Ice Team and Clam is celebrating.  Our guest is Clam Corporation’s Ice Team Manager, Matt Johnson.   Matt is an avid angler and outdoors-man, who also guides around his hometown of Coon Rapids, MN.

Matt will tell us what Clam has in store for the upcoming season.  He will talk about the new Ice Fishing line that Clam had developed, new 20th Anniversary Ice Team Shelters, and new Ascent Outerwear that helps fisherman stay afloat if needed.  Historically, flotation suits limited fisherman’s mobility on the ice, but the Ascent is designed so fisherman can remain mobile and safe.

Matt will also let us know where and when we can find the ice team this winter.  If this show doesn’t get you pumped up for hard water season, nothing will.

Just about one year ago, Pro Fisherman, Tommy Skarlis fell out of his tree stand while archery hunting.  The prognosis for Tommy was bleak.  Most people with his type of injury don’t walk again.  Tommy, being the competitor that he is, wouldn’t take it laying down.  During his therapy Tommy not only transformed his body, his spirit was transforming also.  Tommy 2.0 might have a new look on life, but he is still a competitor at heart and want to win.  That was evident during the recent World Walleye Championship on Cass Lake that he won.
